Sister Jo resides at one of our partner health centers. Before joining the center in 2021, she spent 40 years in Rosário, Brazil, dedicating her life to educating and supporting local communities through personal and cultural challenges. Recently, Sr. Jo was diagnosed with Dementia. This was a hard adjustment for her as she felt she was losing her independence. She gave up driving, had to alter her routine and was presented with new difficulties that impacted her daily life.
